Blog commenting Cyber smart Challenge

For this Task I had to write a smart, specific comment to comment on other schools post. This is my example of my smart comment if I was to comment on another persons post.

This challenge introduces Smart Media, and the question of, What is Media ? My task was to figure out what a piece of Media is all about. Media means the main means of mass communication ( Broadcasting, publish, and the internet ) regarded collectively.

Do you agree or disagree?

I agree. Why? Mostly anything can be attractive like lollies and chips, etc. That´s what mostly attracts Childrens eyes, but what about the young pre teens? What do they see happening around them? Whats making them attracted? What me and my class has found out is Vapes is what attracts young pre teens. Mostly you can think they look innocent, but what about out of school grounds? Do their parents know about their child’s actions and behavior? You never really know. That´s what im basically talking about. Marketing with Vapes is shocking! Vapes are increasing their popularity by making more flavors and different types of vapes. Apparently some kids think that vaping “ makes you look cool“.

What is the marketing of vaping?

Vaping companies utilised promotions, social media influence rs, retail environments and recreational venues, and sponsorship’s for music festivals and sports events, not only to attract smokers attempting to quit, but also to establish a fresh market.

Vapes affecting youth.

One e-liquid pod can contain as much nicotine as a packet of cigarettes. Nicotine exposure during the teenage years can harm brain development, which continues until about age 25. It can impact learning, memory and attention, and increase risk for future addiction to other drugs.

Have you ever time traveled back into the past? Wanting to know more about your family? Motat!  Motat is a situated in Auckland. It is a museum of Travel and technology. Motat is often visited by school students and preschoolers.I personally think Motat is a great place for people who are interested in past,history, etc.Although Motat offers many interesting experiences and facts, there are several changes that need to be made so that it appeals Intermediate students. One of the many attractions are the planes. They are bigger than my house that it makes me feel like im in a tiny city. Me and my group even got to sit in the plane and discover the different planes. I got to discover the many facts and history from the very first plane. I even got to create my own Jet plane and design with colorful patterns. There was even a button so you can hear how loud a plane actually is when it takes of.

This post is about think before you post on the internet. Make sure to Choose wisely and think about what your sharing to others.

This morning me and my class had Mr Goodwin our cyber smart teacher. Mr Goodwin taught us about what we share to others and what we shouldn’t. I got a task to put my personal information whether it should be private or public.

For this task we had been made a template of a beach to put our sites and bits on. The task was about our  24hr Digital Footprint, about what we been on for the past 24hrs.

What we learned in this task was all about looking at our history.

The site that i was on most was spotify, which i shouldn’t have been on.lol

Task Description: In cyber smart me and my class made our own monster mate with Google drawing. Then we wrote an About me template so people would know so much about our monster mate.

This Morning me and my class sorted our class sites into Bookmarks so that we can be in the right place at the right time. Mr Goodwin our Cyber smart  teacher is helping us today on how to Bookmark our important learning sites. This really helped me instead of going to site to site, when there’s BOOKMARKS! It’s now easy for me to get to a class site instead of taking 10 minutes or so. I now have a clean folder to get to where ever i need  with just a second!
